POST'S FIRST SCRATCH NIGHT!

WE DID IT! WE HAD OUR VERY FIRST SPARK THEATRE SCRATCH NIGHT! AND WITHOUT ANY DISASTERS! YIPEE!

(Ok. and breathe).

Naturally it's pretty nerve wracking after you've spent months creating/planning/hoping and then to finally see it all come to life. We were all buzzing however after the success of that first night and want to say a HUGE thank you for everyone involved who either wrote, performed, or came to show their support. We had the pleasure of showing work by Wakefield Poet Simon Widdop, Leon Fleming, Amy Charles (who's piece was acted by the delightful Rachel Watson), Steve Williams, and the wonderful Make, DO theatre company. A big shout out to the actors from Wakefield College who also acted on the night, we can't wait to have you back again! We're now planning the next scratch night and have been overwhelmed by responses and submissions from local writers. Watch this space!
